She would raise it up if another staff member came outside, or the mailman, but lower it as soon as they left. She was sitting much closer to the resident than we, her visitors, were. I wonder if she does this all the time, inside and out.

She is lonely once in a while, but her care is excellent from what I can tell. I only go by what I see and hear and what she tells me. Everybody seems to be caring up there, and I think they really do a lot for their residents. If I were in the same position, I would want to be there. I have been in several others over the course of years, and that one is at the top.

Most of the staff was rude and unhelpful. They did not achieve what they are being paid to do. They sent my family member home way too early, only to arrive home and having to call 911 for a infection and a catheter that wasn’t working. Very disappointed in the physical therapy department. We chose Alliance Human services because we were familiar with their work and reputation in the community. They understand the unique needs of each child and parent.
So I asked when was that paperwork signed? She said very irritated "in the hospital!" I explained she just came from the hospital and has been in a few times so I just wanted to see the date to clarify it was part of her DNR paperwork. She grunts and says "I'll show you" and storms off to get the DNR paperwook.
